"HUMANE" is a body of work depicting an emotional journey triggered by
different styles of music representing our rich multicultural society.
It is also a successful experiment where I aimed to extract myself away
from a self-centred environment to create an artwork, resulting from
collaborative and interactive human exchange, and aiming at reconnecting
the self and the other through a dialogue across cultures and
civilizations.
"Humane" is a diptych, including a representation of "The Self " on the
left, "The Other" on the right, and a white "Humane" figure, in the middle,
that connects both together.
In the artwork creation process, my quest for humanity also inspired me
to include in "The Other", some original doodles which were created by the
public during a special event organised at Art Couture Gallery in Dubai.
