"DARET EL AYAAM - THE DAYS PASSED " 2013 marks a major change in CHRITCH artistic and personal vision after the Egyptian uprise and the instability coinciding with the loss of her parents.
The vibrant colouring of her early works has been replaced by a palette bringing more white and pastel colours. The use of folk art patterns has increased, as if she wanted to hold on to her roots, and the interlaced figures gained expressive maturity .The background is now clearly defined and its dominant colour became gold, symbolising hope.
The use of musical instruments or symbols is meant to show the importance of freedom of artistic expression in general.
